When can I expect my Item? All my items are produced at time of sell. I do not keep an inventory. This helps to keep cost down which in turns keeps prices down. It also insures you get a fresh clean item, not one that has been sitting on a shelf getting chipped up. Please try to keep in mind, Producing quality crafted bisque takes time.

  1. Bisque items fired to cone 04 - generally 3-4 weeks

  2. Glazed items and second firing - generally 4-6 weeks

  3. Items requiring overglaze and a third firing (gold, pearl, etc..) - generally 6

Why is shipping so high? That is due to the charges of USPS and FedEx. I charge 8$ for packing materials and labor. I use the calculators provided by the shipping companies to find shipping cost. I enter in the expected weight of the items or items and the expected box size. You enter your zip code. USPS’s shipping calculator than tells us what it will cost to ship your item to you. Once the items are produced and packed for accurate weights and dimensions, I will find the cheapest way to ship. ALL shipping overages are refunded. I make money by producing quality ceramics not shipping

My item arrived damaged what now? All items are shipped insured. Priority mail is automatically insured and you do not need a receipt for the insurance. All priority mail is automatically insured. You can file a claim here

Use pictures of packing material and the broken item, along with your receipt for the item. USPS can require you to take the item to the local shipped to post office for inspection, however usually they don’t. But because of this, it is the responsibility of the buyer to file the claim.

Why do you not just replace my item when it is broken in shipping, like other companies do? Companies that do this are very large. I am only a crafter. Unlike those large companies I do not tack on an extra cost on all my items to cover the possibility of breakage. My items are packed very well. All most all make it safe and sound even thou what I ship is very fragile. I can not afford, nor am I willing, to accept the cost for another companies failures. I have no control of their employees and I receive no profit from those companies. Perhaps if more business would put their foot down, shipping companies would require their employees to practice respect for the items in their care.

Where do you get your items? I own the molds to make all my items, all items are produced at time of sell. None of my items come from auction or resell or cheap 3rd world country labor. The only slave labor is my own. Good thing I enjoy what I do.

Can you customize my item? Yes to some degree. I can not change the size as these are poured from molds but I can add holes, smooth out areas, add inscriptions etc.…. I am also happy to finish the item for you for an additional cost. Many of the finished pictures of my items are pictures of items I finished for a customer. If you have an item you would like to replicate, please send several pictures of the item and lets talk : )
